Videolab: multimedia management system at the KU Leuven

Roman Verraest is an educational technologist at the Teaching and Learning Department of KU Leuven.
He is responsible for the design and implementation of the Videolab streaming media service at the Association KU Leuven and supports teachers, staff and students in the good use of tools, software and media. Recent projects include the Videolab interactive jukebox, integration with the Blackboard LMS, and the development of a mobile lecture capturing unit.
In this webinar Roman Verraest will explain more about the multimedia service(Videolab), the KULeuven is offering their students & teachers. In his presentation, he will give an overview on how this service has developed over time with a focus on the different business aspects that should be taken in to account organising such a complex tool.
